Md. Dems pass new congressional map — as AG appeals ‘gerrymandering` ruling

Just after the Maryland House passed the new congressional map on a party-line vote, Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh (D) filed a notice indicating the state would appeal a judge`s ruling that the original map was illegally gerrymandered at Republicans` expense.
